How the FreeShelf CV builder works
Add your contact details, summary, roles, education and skills in the Studio. Your information is separated from the visual design, so changing the template does not mean retyping your CV. That is particularly useful when you want to compare a conservative application with a more distinctive version for a different employer.
Built for real applications, not just pretty previews
A CV has to do more than look good. FreeShelf includes tools for ATS checking, a plain-text mirror, skim testing and grayscale review so you can see how the document behaves in less forgiving recruitment workflows. You can also use the same career information to draft a cover letter.
Who is it for?
The builder is suitable for graduates, career changers, specialists, managers and senior applicants. The design library deliberately spans simple one-column CVs, structured sidebars, stronger editorial layouts and executive styles so the same tool can serve very different applications.
